What is Earthbiotics
and its effect on growth and development of cultivated crops
EARTHBIOTICS is a natural humic fertilizer, biostimulator for growth and development of plants that consists of ecologically friendly raw materials – special types of peat.
A unique production technology of fertilizer EARTHBIOTICS enables extraction from the peat and preservation of the whole complex of bioactive substances created by the nature itself: humic, hymatomelanic and fulvic acids (the latter ones are based on a wide range of low-molecular organic substances: amino acids, carbohydrates: glucose, fructose, mannose, sucrose, etc.), water-solvable carboxylic acids, among which the following prevails: succinic, oxalic, lichenic, gallic, lemon, benzoic, salicylic acids etc.), vitamins (B1, B2, B12, PP etc.), macro- and micro-elements in the form of bioavailable organic compounds.
EARTHBIOTICS contains active ingredients: humic and fulvic acids – 40-50 g/l (incl. HA
= 30-35 g/l), nitrogen 1-3 g/l, phosphorus 100-160 mg/l, potassium 3.5-15 g/l,
silicon, copper, zinc, magnesium, boron, iron, manganese, cobalt, etc., beneficial natural microflora.
EARTHBIOTICS is a preparation with a very high bioactivity, which is due to the fact that the fertilizer contains not only a large number of humic acids but also a lot of fulvic acids, active forms of beneficial microorganisms.
Agrochemists call fulvic acids ” mother’s milk” because they are based on amino acids, carbohydrates, water-soluble carboxylic acids (succinic, fumaric, citric, etc.), which is a breeding ground for the root system of plants. With a low molecular weight, fulvic acids easily penetrate cell membranes and facilitate the flow of nutrients to plants. So the effect of the product begins immediately after its application: the seed vigor increases, a strong root system starts to develop, which is very important for arid countries.
Humic acids with a much heavier molecular weight have a later-appearing effect: in the period of flowering and appearance of the ovaries – after hydrolytic cleavage to a low- molecular level and the appearance of the ability to penetrate into the plant cell. Therefore, unlike other products, EARTHBIOTICS is a treatment of a long-term action,
it influences on plants at every stage of their growth and development – from
seed germination to the crops maturing.
The fertilizer contains beneficial microflora, and when applied to soil, EARTHBIOTICS acts as a natural biopreparation, activator of soil microflora. The studies, conducted by the Russian Research Institute of Agricultural Microbiology of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences (St. Petersburg, 2013), have shown that the number of bacteria in the product is quite big. The most interesting feature of this preparation is its aerobic bacterial flora that acts as a stimulator for the plant’s growth.
Thus, EARTHBIOTICS is not only humic but a microbiological preparation as well, i.e. a double-role preparation, that exceeds in its actions both common humic fertilizer and special microbiological preparations.
In addition to the above, EARTHBIOTICS exhibits properties of a sticking agent, due to the fact that it contains SAAs (surface acting agents). It also shows explicit fungicide and germicide properties.
According to the conclusions made by the Russian Research Institute of Agricultural Microbiology of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences, application of EARTHBIOTICS to the soil results in:
protection of a given plant from plant pathogenic fungi via directing them to a saprophilous development pattern, which will not harm the plants.
substantially increases the number of aggregations of soil microorganisms – ammonifying, amylolytic and denitrifying bacteria, and accordingly, phytohormones and growth stimulants – auxins, cytokinins, gibberellins, etc.;
by 28.8% increases respiration of soil microorganisms, i.e. their activity;
the amount of nutrients in the soil increases ammonia nitrogen – by 7.4%, mobile phosphorus and potassium – by 22.0% and 10.5%, respectively.
